Darn, if that's correct, then Blu-ray Disc has a dark shine over it... And it's not even released! It's going bad for Blu-ray Disc

Exclamation Absolute proof

And I heard from my second cousin, once removed...
who heard it from her hair dresser...
who heard it from her most loyal customer (position with held on purpose)...
who heard it from her Wall Street analyst...
who heard if from Sony USA's President's doorman...
that SONY will officially drop Blu-ray and join the HD-DVD group by 29 February 2007!

You heard it here first!

Please try to include where you read things so we can follow up and verify the information. What you seem to be referring to is an unconfirmed comment that supposedly was made by someone working for Universal (not Wal-mart), but no-one really knows the exact details and if it is true.

This has already been discussed in this thread:

He's making a total ass off himself

He can't even make good replies to defend himself.

"Facts are pesky things"
Some people just can't let silly little things like facts get in the way of there agenda

Like the fact that a "supposed unnamed" Universal exec even made these comments to begin with.

LOL - He closed the topic for discussion after making one last false claim... or at least a wild guess in the dark that the Sun Java product will install products all over the place and destabilize the Windows Vista OS.

Let's all say it together:

"Like Windows needs HELP in being an unstable operating system loaded with bloatware."

Sigh - oh well... while he clearly isn't convinced, it was clearly not a discussion he had a chance to win. Maybe if Amir was on his forum posting M$ lies about Blu-ray he would have had more luck.

Good work guys! Sorry I wasn't able to take part. My wife just gave birth to twin boys. Sometimes live gives us a real thrill.
