Default Does anybody own a Panny lcz70 set?

What are your opinions of these sets? I currently own a toshiba 42" 1080i plasma which I like but I'm thinking of going to an Lcd 1080p set.

Any thoughts on what to look at?

Panasonic is not the way to go if you want an LCD tv. They're primarily into plasma technology. Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, LG, Philips make really good LCD tv's. I always recommend Philips from personal experience. It has very good standard-def picture and an outstanding hi-def one. You'll be in Blu-ray heaven.
And you can't discount the fact Philips LCD's cost 400/500 dollars less than their competition on an average.

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to have some feedback. I'll look into the brands you recommended.
