USA Wanted Limited Edition Collector's Set

You can take a look at how the thing looks here: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Wante...7/#Screenshots

I know it's old but it doesn't really have a thread here and it is a form of collectible packaging.

I wouldn't recommend it for USD 30 because as nice as the collection is, the storing of the disc is a big problem to me as you WILL need both hands to push the disc upwards and out of the holder as opposed to two fingers in a normal case. Moreover, the content of the disc is the same as the normal edition so for that amount, you're paying for the packaging alone. Get the African Queen box or I Am Legend collector's set if you really want to own a 'limited' set.

I give it a thumbs down.

My copy.

How it blends with my other titles.

So you created a thread to say how much you didn't like a collectors edition release?

Cool story, bro.

If you hate it that much, you could always give it away (*HINT*Send to Billz*HINT*).

It would go great with my steelbook.

I created this thread because I thought it needed one since there wasn't one on this item.

And I am looking to dispose of it but until I can offload it for a good price, I'll keep it.

The section says IronPack and Other Collectible Packaging so I believe this fits into that category.

Well, if you are trying to sell it, opening with a post of how dissapointing it is is about as much as you can do to drive potential customers away.

No-one is going to bother with it if anything in your opening post is anything to go buy.

For an "expert member", you are not very good with advertising, lol.

Well, that explains how I am an accountant and not into marketing. But anyway, I'm not looking to sell it through this site. Besides, I'd think it'd be better for me to 'warn' people to have a second thought about this before jumping on the deal just because of how nice the bullet-crack packaging is.

Why is all this aggressive and mean behaviour to this thread?
Its just a thread abount Wanted limited collectors box set just like any other thread.

P.S. Is Ryan Giggs still playing?

Honestly I love this CE and think it is an highly collectible!
You are right, the Disc holder mechanism is crappy, but considering it is up for $30USD, I would truly recommend this to everyone who is a fan of this movie. I have it next to the Media Markt debossed Steel and the UK Steelbook and just love this Edition.

Just my thoughts...

You will have to ask them about the behavior here.

Yes he is, still for Manchester United in what is likely to be his penultimate season with us.

Sure, will take some pics when home...my presentation does change every month, as too much stuff is coming.
But as said, I understand you critisizing the Disc holder, you are absolutely right, but for 30 bucks you cannot do something wrong with that Edition in my sense.

Planning a big presentation on Back to the Future with my 1:18 DeLorean from Sunstar. One of my favourite movies in the 80s

If I had presented it the way you did, I wouldn't criticize it either!

I must get a new cabinet, that way I can emulate your style

Thanks for the flowers, we'd say! I had to search really hard to find that display, it has also some nice lightning embedded, to support these nice Blu nights

Title of this section reads "Ironpack and Other Collectible Packaging"

I'd say that the Wanted Collector's Edition Set qualifies as other collectible packaging.

( EDIT: oops, just noticed Evra already pointed this out to you.)

I have this one; picked it up when it was released. It's a great looking set, and the little acrylic block lithograph piece matches up well with the one from the I Am Legend UCE. I just need to get my hands on the one from Blade Runner, and I think I'll have them all.

I agree with victors. I assume that since 'Ironpack and Other Collectible Packaging' is a subforum of the main 'Steelbook discussion' forum that it probably would be about other metal collectables (eg metal packs, metal boxes, metal suitcases, etc.). I guess a mod would make the final call.

So if the Inception briefcase wasn't made out metal, you don't think it would belong? It could be made out of plastic for all we know.

I think this LE is fine here.. it is a collectable piece of packaging after all.

I agree that this is sort of a catchall sort of thread...that Wanted packaging looks a lot better than a MetalPak to me any day of the week ... I mean, have you seen those hinges

Now here's some "good advertising"!

So, what BDs have you bought that you wish you hadn't bought?

I mentioned all this in the Wolfman steelbook thread, however, rather then that post being moved here, it was completely deleted for reasons that I was never told.

Please only reply if you have either the T2: Skynet Edition Steelbook, the Sherlock Holmes German Steelbook or the FutureShop Iron Man steelbook and if you are willing to trade for either one of those 3.

Haha!

Thanks for the support guys.

If you wanted the collector's set, I hope I didn't sway your mind but do take in mind that the disc storage is very flimsy and cumbersome.

1. I can't believe I never noticed that typo error in my trade thread. Thanks for the reminder to fix it.

2. What is with the attack? The Wolfman was a piss-poor purchase in that thread. I didn't hold anything back. But in comparison to the Wanted Collectors Edition, the Wanted Collectors Edition is still the far superior choice, and in the opening post, Evra is pissing all over it with his description, which does make for a poor advertisement.

I couldn't give two sh*ts as to what happens with that Wolfman steelbook, but the Wanted Collectors Edition is nothing to moan about.
