Screen Gems has released the trailer for their upcoming horror film The Roommate starring Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights the TV series). The film is about a young woman (Kelly) who discovers that her college roommate (Meester) is a little too over-protective/psychotic/murderous. Worst. Freshman year. Ever. The Roommate looks like an important cautionary tale about setting boundaries with your new college roommate. And if she doesn’t have any other friends, then that ***** is crazy.
