ive never seen a movie leave the theaters after a week. My AMC showed it for one week and it disappeared.

Mine showed it for 1 week aswell. I really wanted to see this!

My theater showed it for 3 weeks...
I enjoyed this flick. Adam Green is a terrific director. I thought this movie captured that claustrophobic feeling and tension quite well. The MPAA made Adam Green cut out one scene for being too graphic, hopefully it's on this disc. This movie is a perfect example of a horror/psychological that can make you cringe without showing gore flying across the screen, but with multi-dimensional characters. Although some you may care about more than others, but for the most part, the characters are likable and interesting to watch.
However, my friend didn't like this movie, or the ending, but this will be a day 1 buy for me.

I've known about it for around 2 months though, so this thread is long overdue (Adam Green announced it on his twitter).

Agreed! I had heard of the movie previously, but saw the trailer when watching Hatchet recently. It definitely peaked my interest much more, and will probably be one I pick up on release day.

I'm pretty excited for this movie, it's something a little different.

Hopefully it's not too much release week since it's still at $31.49

dont know why its so expensive on Amazon but you can buy it off of Walmart.com for 15.00. Im assuming that it would be that price in store as well since thats what they sold Hatchet for.

Our local Hastings had several copies on the shelf... $24.99 on the price tag. but everyone seems to agree that its a pretty good flick. The release date is the 28th, but it rang up with no problems. Now if we can just find time to watch it

Thanks for posting that. I'm not one for Walmart (at all) but since they have it for the cheapest I just ordered. Came out to $17.99

This is one of those movies that I should have skipped on watching. The acting is subpar, and the plot has too many holes that you could pilot an airplane through them.

My recommendation is that you give this a rental and save your money for something much better.
