Thumbs up Halloween: Inside Story (A&E's Biography Oct. 28)

October 28th, 9PM ET/8PM CT/10PM PT on A&E's Biography Channel

Quote:
Since our first mention of "Halloween: The Inside Story", which will be hitting A&E's Biography Channel this October, fans have been pretty excited to finally get a concise overview of the original film that started it all. To keep momentum going for Phil Nobile's feature length documentary, we have a second batch of stills that we are sure will garner your approval.

What we're really digging about this project is that all parties concerned are going out of their way to get you the content that you desire. Believe me when I tell you getting the master himself, John Carpenter, to talk Halloween is not exactly an easy task; yet, Nobile and company have got him, Jamie Lee Curtis, and tons more including Irwin Yablans, Dean Cundey, Nick Castle, Nancy Kyes, PJ Soles, Charles Cyphers, Tony Moran, John Graham, Tommy Lee Wallace, Kim Gottlieb-Walker, Kyle Richards, Brian Andrews, Danielle Harris, and even Rob Zombie.

Most of the filming took place at Orange Grove, Pasadena, and at the replica Myers House owned by Kenny Caperton in North Carolina.

God forbid the Bio Channel would have embed code for their videos, so you'll have to click here for your first look at "Halloween: Inside Story", the new documentary from Phil Nobile that it set to air on A&E's Biography Channel on October 28th, 9PM ET/8PM CT/10PM PT. The aforementioned video features Halloween superfan Kenny Caperton giving a tour of his house: an exact replica of the Myer's house in North Carolina. Wowsa! John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis are featured on the doc, along with Irwin Yablans, Dean Cundey, Nick Castle, Nancy Kyes, PJ Soles, Charles Cyphers, Tony Moran, John Graham, Tommy Lee Wallace, Kim Gottlieb-Walker, Kyle Richards, Brian Andrews, Danielle Harris, and even Rob Zombie.

Biography Channel's website has a bunch of preview videos up to check out. This should fit right in with anyone's Halloween movie marathon.

Can't wait!

Great news! I guess I'll do my annual Halloween Franchise marathon on October 28th this year.

Here's how I do it:

Halloween (1978 version, of course)
Halloween II
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers
Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

And then I cap it off with Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Even though it doesn't have Myers, I still enjoy it as a separate horror film.

I wont even go near Resurrection or those abominable Rob Zombie films.

No H20? I actually liked H20 quite a bit, but the fact that it ignores 4-6 is a bit annoying. They actually filmed scenes acknowledging the events of 4-6 but eventually dropped them. I don't know how they would have explained why Jamie Lee Curtis' character gave up her child for adoption anyway, so it might have been better off that they just ignored 4-6.

I'm looking forward to this documentary. There already is a great documentary on the movies, Halloween: 25 years of Terror, that I'd recommend to any fan of the movies, but I'll still definitely watch this.

Thanks OP. I love the movie. If I remember someone bought the house for $1 and they moved it around the corner from where the hardware store was.
