I was hoping they would do this.. but for the Tin as well. Oh well, I have it ordered from the UK

Also, why arn't websites giving an option for the Digi Pack and the 'One Time' cases? I hope the one in the UK tin is a Digipack

I'd be happy to settle for a metal box edition like the Band of Brothers box.

^ The UK has the collector's tin if that's what you're after. That's what I've ordered.

Although cool, having a look at the image you can see that it says the digipak edition is inside. Being that it's double what the standard Trilogy will cost that's a bit of a deal breaker as though it's cool I just don't imagine the DeLorean to have a really great build quality. I think I'll get more mileage of of my UK tin order with all the cool gear in it and for $40 or so less. Still, very nice to see us get something other than just a standard release.

yeah the detailed pics of the model showed it to look really cheaply made. I also pre-ordered the UK tin version.

Same, wish there was a steelbook though. But if it the case is as nice of band of brothers I will be happy.

So the UK version of the DeLorean set is better than the Australia version?
The Uk version HAS the added extras? (posters, sports almanac etc.)

I just emailed JB Hi-fi and they said that "This item does not come with any bonus items."

Yeah nothing else is coming with it

And I don't think the UK is getting the added extras, just France I think?

I posted a question on the official Facebook page for the Australian BTTF Blu-Ray release asking If they are only going to release a digipack with the Delorean Boxset and a Normal Blu-Ray case for just the 3-Disc Only set.

They replied:

"There are 2 versions out - a Digipak version and a Slimline Blu-ray case version. Both have the lenticular cover. You can get the Digipak at specialists such as JB and Sanity. You can pick up the Slimline version at retailers such as Big W, K-Mart and Target."

http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/...0666126?v=wall

So I'm very happy I don't have to pay $109 for the Delorean Boxset just for the Digipack now hahaha

Edit: I deleted my question by mistake but you can still see their reply

Hmmm....so the online price for the DeLorean Set is $109, but in the brand spankin-new JB catalogue it's $129. I smell skullduggery afoot.

Looks like most of the stuff that comes in the UK tin comes inside the actual digipack for the UK Delorean boxset

More Pictures Here: http://foro.supervaca.com/viewtopic....=9820&start=60

.... I really hope they do that here. Or even with just the normal Digipack release. Doubt it though!

I really love the Digipack/Discs with this one Can't wait to get it next week!

I am old fashioned and don't use the internet to buy anything!

I also like to have the product in my hands when I buy something, not paying my hard earned money and then waiting around a couple of weeks for it to arrive.

I agree with the second part but my collection would be about 1/3 the size if I didn't import. I just simply couldn't afford to buy all the titles I love locally due to the exorbitant prices of some of them. I prefer to actually see what I'm buying, but my wallet says import.

Well I just cancelled my UK tin order. I'll be running with the regular version from JB Hi-Fi seeing as though it's $46.98. The tin, while nice, just doesn't seem to be worth the extra $20 or so now that pictures of the stuff inside have come out.
