Does anyone know any information about the aussie release of The Goonies? Will it have a lossless soundtrack, etc?
I saw it here - http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/815423 - but it doesn't list anything.

It is likely to be exactly the same disc as the UK

And for the record the UK disc is great. It's not the prettiest film but it looks pretty damn good all things considering!

has the usa bluray got maybe a themed slip cover. embossed like a indiana jones style one.. sure as hell wont have them ugly markings to ruin it.

I think collector's edition is already sold out. I have collector's edition and it include small goonies magazine.

I picked it up at JB on the day of release, but it sold out pretty quickly... haven't seen it anywhere in awhile I am afraid...

Exact same thing happened to me, bought it off the Big W website when they had the 25% off sale and received the amaray case, was a bit pissed off.
