First day buy for me. I've yet to see Toy Story 3 but I loved the first two growing up, more so the first admittedly, but no doubt 3 is as good as I've heard.

This set is so bland!

There are no extras! I thought that they would release the trilogy in a special package, but it's just the 3 Blu-rays in a slipbox.

The US Ultimate Toy Box Edition is looking sweet! 10 discs, in a great looking package, and probably a heap of other extras!

The US Toy Box is just three copies of each movie (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital copy) plus the second Blu-ray disc of Toy Story 3. It's a waste of money unless you need them on all formats. The same four Blu-ray discs will be in this box and it's much cheaper.

Is the US box set region free then? I really want it as it looks amazing. Will I be charged for importing it?

I meant in terms of features on the discs, as it seemed Poshteh1 was under the impression it would have a ton of additional extras due to the many discs, when in fact they've just duplicated the movies three times each.

I know that it is just all 3 films on Tripleplay Editions! I do my research beforehand!

What I meant was that the US are atleast getting an added bonus, plus the packaging is sweet, and the box set probably has many more unannounced extras

The Uk boxset leaves a lot to be desired. I haven't seen Toy Story 3 so it will be a blind buy for me. For those who have seen it, is there any chance there could be a 4th film?

When you watch the film you'll see there's an very slim chance for a 4th film, and Pixar have pretty much said there won't be a 4th. If anything there's no need for another one because Toy Story 3 ends so perfectly that it would seem a shame to have another film.

Yet having said all this, the short that'll be tagged onto the beginning of Cars 2 next year will be Toy Story-based and feature characters from the films.

The only hint we have for a 4th film is when Tim Allen apparently said that he had signed on for another Toy Story film, but this hasn't been confirmed by Pixar, so he could have been reffereing to the Cars 2 short, who knows.

There will be a fourth if their next run of films don't live up to the current crop, call me a cynic but money talks

You say that like you're expecting them to be awful and will only do a fourth for money. To me, Pixar seem to be the only studio out there today that care more about their films than they do about how much they get paid and it shows since they have officialy announced they have no plans for a fourth film, because if they did only care about money they'd pull a Dreamworks and do sequels to all their films..

Because of the possibility of a 4th film and the awful artwork this boxset has been given I'll be sticking with the single release and not double dipping as I have a feeling I will regret it in a few years time!

Cynic
I really don't think you will, because a the possibility of a fourth film is almost none, so I wouldn't worry about whether or not the box set will be incomplete, but each to their own.

I like how this picture is worked out. They did it so none of the characters introduced in one of the sequels is in one of the spots for the previous film, ie. Jessie and Bullseye are not in the top third marked for TS 1 and Lotso is not in the spot for TS 2. Just a cool little bit of trivia disguised as cover art.

Received the Blu-ray set of Toy Story today from Tesco and it has the same artwork as HMV. Also it has region A,B,C in the top right corner on the back so set should be region free.
