Default Home Alone 1 & 2 Blu-ray Collection

The two Home Alone movies starring Macauley Culkin was released in a two-pack this month. My question is whether it's the two movies combined within a slipcase or if it's two disc inside a single cover?

I hope it's the latter because it should be about time they reduced the price on both these movies. If so, I'll pick the collection up for $24.99.

It's both movies in seperate cases inside of a slipbox. It's just cheaper than buying them seperately

And you are 100% sure it's not just two disc slapped into a single disc cover? Cause I want two singles, but they are much more expensive than buying the new release.

Are these worth an upgrade over the DVDs?

And did the special features carry over from the 1st movie? And any features for the 2nd?

I think so, I guess they just cover them up since they're part of the boxset

It's surreal and a little weird to see Macalluy Culkin's character visit the top of the World Trade Center. Better days.

I just ordered mine. I had a $10.00 coupon from Amazon. $24.99 I can deal with easily! Something tells me this might slip to around $24.99 around Black Friday.

OK. Well at least those cases will have protection from the slipbox.

Do both movies have anything interesting in the way of an interactive main menu or do the movies just start right away, after inserting the disc into the player?

Definitely. I hate the whole "we have to remove the towers" thing they did with a lot of movies after 9/11. You can't change the past.

I've been holding off on adding both of these movies because of the price. I'm tempted by this boxset....hope it drops a bit lower.
