I would not put too much thought into it. As you can see, there are quite a few studios already onboard. It's just more money for them. Not sure how this affects Fox as far as them supporting HD-DVD goes. I hope nothing happens. Seriously doubt it will.

I believe Disney are on xbox marketplace as well. It's a completely different platform. No connection with blu-ray/hd-dvd support.

Xbox Live downloads are keyed to the individaul devices, just what DRM hungry Fox likes
