United Kingdom Reservoir Dogs special features question

Sorry for not putting this in the other RD thread, but that seems only to be about the packaging and not the disc itself, so...

I know that the bulk of the special features are carried over from the 15th anniversary DVD edition (at least that's what I've read elsewhere) but what I want to know is whether the interview with Chris Penn talking about Lawrence Tierney is still there. It was one of my favourite extras from the DVD release and I don't fancy upgrading unless I know it's there on the blu ray.

Just bumping this thread as I'm hoping someone can answer the question.

I'll check when I get home.

Love that feature.

There's a 7-minute interview with Penn on there under the 'original interviews' section but I seem to remember there being a feature titled 'tribute to Lawrence Tierney' on the previous DVD that is definitely not on this one.

Damn! Thanks very much for looking into that for me. Looks like I'll be holding on to the DVD.

No problem man, I'm holding onto my DVD as well 'cause I got the Mr. Blonde one. Quite like the packaging and it's got a nice booklet too.

If you were thinking about getting the Blu, by the way, absolutely do- it's fantastic, in my opinion one of the best examples of DVD-to-BD improvement. See if you can get the tin packaging, CEX always has one in stock in my experience.

But make sure you give it a good once-over - the handles on those petrol can editions seem prone to falling off, and the can itself is pretty dent-friendly. CEX doesn't attract the greatest condition of items, even at the best of times!

Great edition for a fantastic film, though. Am tempted to pick one up myself after your recommendation, even though I'm already holding Orange and Brown R1 DVDs and the UK SE Digi DVD (the latter, just because it "looked nice" and I am apparently an idiot - I try not to do that kind of thing).

No, I'm much worse, I bought a complete set of Blackadder tapes the other day just because they "look nice".

And they don't even look THAT nice.

Haha! Good to know.

I like visiting places like this - I can feel almost... normal!
