Top Preorders Blu-ray and HD DVD - Blu-ray Forum

I looked at the top preorder lists for Blu-Ray and HD DVD on the dvdempire.com website. Interesting most of the top movies on the HD DVD list are Universal and Paramount movies, Paramount movies that we would have gotten on blu-ray those idiots.... There are WB movies as well but they place lower on the list.

The Blu-Ray top preordres are a good mix of WB, Fox, Sony, Disney and MGM.

I was shocked to see Fantastic 4 ROTSS on pre-order for Oct 2nd for Bluray.
That is 4 weeks away and Amazon doesn't have it listed yet. Has this release date been comfirmed?

to the op if you take a look out of the top 25 bluray preorders there is 3 warner bros titles in the top 25, 1 being polar express which hd dvd people already have had since last october. On the other hand Hd Dvd have 8 Warner Bros titles in the top 25.
Like i said in the which studio is most important if bluray can get warner bros to go exclusive we will be good to go. but if it goes hdddvd i'll have to put my money back on hddvd which will suck since i just sold all my hddvd stuff

Yeah, but it was VERY recently. I think the press release just happened Thursday or Wednesday.

fox website is advertiseing all the new fox blu- rays the digital bits say they are going to be international releases however cant find a single website advertising them in the u.k can any one post one even fox u.k are not advertising them im a little cocernred as we all know there is no way to get multi region playback for blu - ray just do not want to miss out on the cool titles
