It's quite a fun game actually and i'm usually not into any kind of horror game.

Well I know i've seen the game in English before(most likely the PC version) and have also read the manga in English online before but they might have been fan translations though. I think it might stand a little chance of coming stateside since it is a visual novel where you actually have gameplay and not to mention it is a horror-adventure type game.

Damn. I keep getting killed in the nurse's office in the 1st chapter and getting what they call the Wrong End which I guess is another way of saying Bad End. (playing the Japanese demo)

Update: Ok so I beat the demo but with the 1st chapter ending with Naomi finding out that Seiko was hanged in the bathroom, i'm definitely interested to see what happens next. But of course at least it's better than having Naomi finding out that Seiko was being controlled by a couple of ghost elementary school kids when she was in the bathroom and having Seiko being forced to hang herself and then have those same kids kill you(Naomi) as well to have her cut the inside of her mouth open with a pair of sewing scissors which leads to the Wrong End.

I guess i'll check it out and grab whatever free Project Diva 2nd DLC that I don't have yet.

Yup there's a demo up. As for Project Diva 2nd, I believe there was some Idolmaster DLC for it.

Corpse Party Finally Gets A Sequel

Visual novel and Bullet Soul publisher 5pb picked up Corpse Party: Blood Covered, a remake of a PC horror game, and ported it to PSP. The game follows high school students in Kisaragi Academy, which was built on top of an elementary school. Doesn’t sound that bad, but Tenshin Elementary was the site of grisly murders and now you’re trapped there after an earthquake opens a portal to the ghoulish school.

Team GrisGris has a sequel and instead of a port, it’s coming straight to PSP. Corpse Party: Book of Shadows will premiere at Comiket 79. The game is slated for a summer release in Japan.

XSEED Might Be Hinting at a Localization of Corpse Party: Blood Covered... Repeated Fear

XSEED has been saying they will localize a "unique" horror PSP title to America. Corpse Party is very unique and it's a horror PSP title that hasn't been localized. XSEED also said that it's a title that Siliconera has covered in the past.

This teaser trailer does say at the end Join the Party and the Find Out This Fall letters does look like the same letters that have been used in Corpse Party

Is it just coincidence that the new Teaser trailer has CG artwork from Corpse Party? I don't think so.
