Dave Matthews disc

Picked up the BD on Saturday. Pretty impressive. Superb sound and at ten minutes shy of 3 hrs., the concert is well put together. Take note however... this concert is strictly Dave and Tim on accoustic guitars. No drums, no horn section or bass guitar... nuthin'. But... Tim Reynolds is so adept on his instrument, you don't really miss the band. Reynolds, who rarely speaks a word, does two solo tracks, the first being the most impressive.

The PQ is very good but there are quite a few shots that begin out of focus. The Pat Metheny concert had better PQ over all but this Dave Matthews disc still impresses. Matthews verbal interludes are very abstract, just a hair away from sounding like ramblings from a mind that's been opened too wide for a bit too long but he still seems like a guy you'd want to hang out with.

Is the disc worth buying? Actually, two discs - the second being supplimental material but yes, worth every penny if you're into accoustic guitar... and into Matthews style of music. I'm interested in what others think of the disc so let me know!
