Streets of fire, 1984 with Diane Lane, Micheal Pare, Rick Moranis, Amy Madigan, Willem Dafoe. Pretty cheesey, but I like it.

Lady Snowblood and Streets of Fire are both fab films. But if you're talking OLD and cheesy, then The Wizard of Oz is a must. The recent DVD restoration was amazing, any BLU version is a must buy.

If you're talking newer old and cheesy, then Body Double would be a fave. Beautifully shot and very stylish, would look great on Blu. (unrated of course).

Default They Live!!!!!!!!!!

That would be totally awesome. I love that movie. It's nothing but cheesy goodness. I would love to see Commando on Blu Ray. I introduced my wife to Commando and now she understands the pure joy of Arnold.

Fletch? I found this snipit on the web... http://www.fletchwon.net/flscript4.html

(In prison.)
The Man turns in the darkness as Fletch sits on the lower bunk. He stares at Fletch for a long moment. The man presses closer, his crimson lips in a wicked smile.

FLETCH
You shouldn't use so much...eye shadow
...it makes you look...cheap.

MAN
You're sitting on my bunk.

FLETCH
Oh...Sorry.

MAN
Shut up.

The man throws Fletch across the floor into a corner.

MAN
(approaching him)
Take your pants off.

FLETCH
(rising, hand on belt buckle)
Gee...I, uh...don't even know your name...

MAN
(growling)
Bend over.

FLETCH
Ben...Nice to meet you. You wouldn't have
a middle name would you? Everyone else
around here seems to...

I'd snatch up MST3K on BD in half a second.

When I saw the title of your thread "They Live" immediately jumped in my head... funny it was 1 of the 2 movies you listed.

I would add both "Angel Heart" and "Serpent & the Rainbow". I don't know that either are really cheesy, but they are not considered classics and I love both. And how about "The Running Man" featuring cheese masters Arnold AND Richard Dawson of Family Feud fame.

Default King Kong vs. Godzilla!

King Kong vs. Godzilla! So much cheese, you will think you are in Switzerland! One of the highlights is the "African" village paying homage to Kong. Only, they are quite obviously Japanese actors with their skin painted dark with staight black hair. The next best part is the final battle between Kong and Godzilla. These two rubber suits go at it like a couple characters from the WWF. If you ever get the chance...
