2 thumbs up or down? - Blu-ray Forum

I just noticed that Best Buy will be getting Ultraviolet on Blu-ray disc in June. I also just read reviews from people on the dvdactive website that said this movie was HORRIBLE [they too used caps]. I am a Milla fan [at least Fifth Element and the first Resident Evil] but hesitant about buying a movie I have never seen...especially with so many bad reviews. Can anyone else give me their opinion? I trust everyone on here!

I've heard bad things about Ultraviolet as well. To me the trailer looked mildly interesting, kind of like the Aeon Flux trailer. However, I too am a Milla fan. I plan on buying it on BD along with Fifth Element and Resident Evil: Apocalypse. While Sony's on a Milla kick they should put out The Messenger as well. Loved that film! And of course, Resident Evil 1.

i watched it, it sucked as a plot and story, but still somehow was fun to watch. maybe you should just lend it before making the decision if to buy.

i waited forever for a special edition fifth element to come out on dvd. it still sits unopened on my shelf. now fifth element will be one of the first blu-ray titles to be released.

that kinda burns me.
