Default Pixar Special Editions $29.99 at Costco

I was at Costco today and saw these. They are pretty nice. They come in big box and include the movie (of course), a guide book, some lithographs of the movie and a sticker book

I had never heard of these editions and was surprised when I saw them. They have Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc., Up and Wall-E. Here are some pics taken with my phone.

Did you purchase this and open it up? I'm curious on if it's BD size and how it's packaged.

Thank you jw.

I thought I heard of the Toy Story ones but the others are new to me. Are they a Costco exclusive? I've personally never seen them out and have no Costco near me.

I was worried about this too. It DOES come with a slip, thankfully. Here's some out of package pictures. This set, in my opinion, is well worth the few extra dollars.

Great! Besides the extra stuff, I was looking for a guarantee of a slip so I may go for this. Even though a re-release is coming I hate the cover for Wall-E's re-release and I will be getting Ratatouille, and there is no way I'd get both on the same day so I will definitely get this. I wish they had one of these for Ratatouille!

I was very pleased with it. I got the Monsters, Inc one as well and the slipcover was included so you're safe. One odd thing though, the case itself was an elite brand, not the standard that disney has been using.I agree though, they should've done an edition like this for A Bug's Life, Ratatouille and Cars which were all out at the time. Why randomly exclude titles? Most of us here would gladly shell out $30 each.

As far as I know, Monsters, Inc. has always come in an elite case, as have all other four disc sets I've seen from Disney, like the Fantasia collection, Up, and The Incredibles. These look like nice sets, but unfortunately I don't wait when it comes to Disney titles. Patience is a virtue, but I'll live.

Does anyone have the Costco item numbers for each edition? I would like to call my Costco to see if they stock them.

I picked up the Wall-E set on Wednesday and the movie did come with a slip as stated before. I got it for $19.99 it had a $10 instant rebate good through the 23rd or April I believe. Well worth the $20 this makes a good collectors set.
