Default PS3 Form Factor/Asthetics...

While looking through the awesome pics of the new BD players it dawned on me that while the PS3 is an awesome BD player it doesn't look like one. I'm curious if others think that the look of the PS3 has hindered the adoption of the PS3 as a BD player. From my own standpoint I could care less, but I found my wife's view on the subject interesting. I was telling her about all the features of the PS3 and all she could think of was how it looked and that it was a game machine. Then I show her an S300 and she likes it. I'm curious if the PS3 looked like the new Pioneer Elite, but played games would it be viewed differently. The same hardware under the hood, but a different asthetic on the outside. Wish they could come out with two versions, one that looks like an AV component and one that looks like a game machine, both appealing to different groups.
