This thread is for those who calibrated their tv using a colorimeter and HCFR themselves. Here those who have done this DIY calibration can share their results, discuss any short comings of their display, ask for tips, etc.
For those who are considering doing this too, feel free to ask any question you have. One question I've seen posted a lot at other sites is the Spyder2 vs the Eye One LT/Display 2. First off the Eye-One Lt and Eye One Display 2 are nearly identical, and in general it's advised to not use the Spyder2 or other Spyder colorimeters. They tend to be more inconsistent and have a larger margin of error.
