lol no! the indian film industry is bigger in terms of the number of films it produces in a year. that is including regional films. budgets aren't as big as Hollywood.

You may not like "Superstar" Rajnikanth but you cannot ignore him!
Also for information, the name of the film is Endhiran - The Robot, Robot in Hindi and Robo in Telugu. This is actually a Tamil film from Kollywood in South India. This is the most expensive film ever produced in Indian cinema industry and the highest-grossing Indian film. It even surpassed 3 Idiots.
The Blu-ray version of Robo (Telugu) will be releasing in February worldwide.

Time had an article where they came up with the number of people that each industry reaches. They said Hollywood reaches 2 billion people while Bollywood reaches 3 billion people. However most of these people are from poorer countries and many of them watch unofficial versions of the movie

The movie is called Enthiran/Robot/Robo, depending on what language. There is no Blu-ray forthcoming, perhaps a Telugu language version in February. The original language is Tamil and the Blu ray rights are a huge mess and as yet unsettled. YOu can look here for more info:

http://twitchfilm.com/news/2011/01/i...der-on-dvd.php

There is a link to order (not from me) and links to press and reviews of mine at Twitch.

I'll buy it again when the Blu is available, the film is amazing, and unlike anything you've ever seen. It will look and sound incredible if done properly.
