Default Warner approached for HD-DVD exclusivity

http://www.hdtvuk.tv/2007/09/toshiba_may_be_1.html

and

http://www.hdtvuk.tv/2007/09/warners_last_be.html

We all know that Warner release on HD-DVD first for some reason, so could it be that they are off to join Paramount? If so, then I reckon that's it for blu-ray.

Someone needs to throw a lot of money at WB to get them to go blu-ray only first!

Already being discussed and the idea that this would "be it" for Blu-ray is ridiculous.
That would put major studio support at 50/50 and it's not going to happen anyway.
Did you not see Warner's announcement?

You don't look like a new member here. Have you been gone for a while? This topic has been beaten to death. WB is going nowhere for the rest of the year. THey are watching sales closely in Q4 2007. At the recent trade show, they appeared at the Blu press conference and NOT at the hd-dvd one. I will predict again that if Blu sells better in Q4, that WB will switch to Blu next year.

Use the search function for this forum. The latest news is that WB rejected Toshiba's offer and it's OLD NEWS!!!
