Play.com has a pre-order for a Blu-ray 3D release of Coraline for 11th April. An additional 2D disc included retains the features from the original release.

3D as in you need 3D TV/Home theatre equipment, rather than just red/blue glasses that the other release came packed with.

I wonder how many people have been scammed by unscrupulous sellers or just ignorantly bought a copy from a shop thinking the old '3d' realease was blu-ray 3d..


In my local HMV some 'helpful' staff put the old Coraline release in with the 3d-bluray rack.

lol i dont think so, Im pretty sure iv seen it instore

I do love my lenticular cover on the original version tho

The reason i have not rushed out to buy it yet is because i have it recorded from when it was showen in 3D on my Sky HD box

Edit: If you trust them i have just found Zavvi doing it for £13.95

That is if it works out with Zavvi, I had a lot of problems with my previous order

Does anyone know if it has the same bonus features as the previous version? If so i will sell my old one (with the different lovely lenticular cover)

Lol lets see if Zavvi can actually handle my order this time

Last time i ordered from them they left me hanging on for over 1 month while they tried to "find" stock. Then one day they just emailed me and said they had canceled my order. Not even a sorry
