By the way, there were 290 films nominated! The rest of the results will be up tomorrow.

It sucks that Donnie Darko, Eternal Sunshine and Pan's Labyrinth didn't make the list. Especially Donnie Darko, as it's my favorite movie of all time.

I know, most of those are great! But from a lot of 290, they're still pretty high up there.

No Amelie or Diving Bell? Or Children of Men? Looking forward to seeing what beat them out!

Thumbs up

Right on Mark! You’ve put some work into this and it shows.
Just in the 1st lil bit I see a couple movies that are well regarded, so I gotta make a point of seeing them.
And following this thread for more recommendations.

So far all fantastic films, very shocked to see Pan's Labyrinth miss out, I had that in my Top 20 (Also had Wall-e and Oldboy in there)

I think Two Towers is the weakest LotR movie, fave being Return of the King.

Love Star Trek and Children of Men as well, like Batman Begins.

Ugh... How in the hell did I miss this?

Some great picks so far. Wall-e, Almost Famous, and Mulholland Dr. are amazing movies.

I'm surprised Pan's Labyrinth and Eternal Sunshine missed the cut. Donnie Darko, Zodiac, and Children of Men were pretty good as well.

Oldboy and There Will Be Blood for me, thus far. Good to see a foreign language film making it to the top 20.
