Default March 2007 - Japanese BD sales 94.8%

Found it rather interesting. I know I don't read Japanese properly (hiragana and katakana only), but I dare to go to Japanese wikipedia and search for "%"

Quote:
2007年3月現在ではレコーダー、映像ソフト共に電気量販店ではほぼBD陣営が次世代DVDの売り場を占 拠している。日経パソコンでは「94.8%は次世代DVD市場でBlu-rayが勝っている」と報告してた。
suspected that the number is comparison between next-gen DVD and BD, I took it to Altavista babel fish:

translation
2007 March presently both the recorder and the image software at the electric mass sales store almost the BD camp has occupied the counter of the next generation DVD. In the Nikkei personal computer "as for 94.8% Blu-ray has won in the next generation DVD market", that it has reported.

I am hoping to find the latest number

Toshiba should just throw in the towel and start producing Blu Ray players.
