United Kingdom The Adjustment Bureau - 27th June 2011

Source: BBFC
Release Date: 27th June 2011
Distributor: Universal

A great film, though not something I would bother buying on Blu-ray. Expect a Steelbook as it's Universal.

You know there's something wrong with a film when a thread like this lies around for months with no input. The film is utter shit. A massive disappointment when you consider the cast. Just badly made and REALLY stupid.

Nice Steelbook though http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004WDZRAE/

If you've not seen it don't pay too much.

I'm a big fan of Matt Damon, I'm hoping I'll enjoy it. I've not seen it yet but will get it on release day.

As for the Steelbook Emily Blunt should be spread all over it.

Ordered it, according to Amazon.co.uk it's being released on 4th of July instead of what the title says.

In a world where the big blockbusters are films like Pirates 4 and Hangover 2, I found this pretty refreshing, actually. There was great chemistry between the leads and though it wasn't especially groundbreaking, it was well-made for what it was. People need to bear in mind that it's essentially a romance with some sci-fi stuff thrown in as opposed to a full-on sci-fi thriller like Inception (though I'd argue it was actually more emotionally engaging than Inception...)

Massive fan of Damon and Emily Blunt was a revelation in The Young Victoria Both are quite poor here.

Problem is, the people who wrote and produced this assumed we've all seen certain films in the past and also assumed we can believe any old crap which isn't thought through, smart or the slightest bit entertaining. Add to that it's technically poor.

Worth watching I suppose but as I said don't spend too much.

I just hope Damon is more careful because this is his 2nd crap film (Hereafter was terrible) in as many years and I assume he has the power to pick his projects. He may be on a roll of bad films.

I'm not saying you have to be stupid to like it -but it would help

hmm, it doesn't look great does it? I'll have to pass, although I bet the steelie will entice more than a few blind buys. Hopefully Source Code will be good enough for my annual sci-fi fix, anyone seen it?

yep this movie was a total let down. It was basically a romance movie. Nothing more. Source Code is a great movie. This not one bit

The Steel is Only £9.97 currently @ Amazon. Also have "very good" condition copies for £7.78 from their marketplace shop. Very tempted.

9.97 Pounds is very tempting, I think I'm gonna order it and ship to Hong Kong.

Btw, I'm from Hong Kong and new here, just so u guys know the Blu-ray disc in Hong Kong is fxxking expensive!!! The Adjustment Bureau BD standard version (Not Triple Play) is selling 26 Pounds, do u believe it!!!! While UK version now just selling below 10 pounds. Hope can get more Region Free BD from UK coz HK is region A/1, not B/2.
