being how this processor is also installed in to a machine that is also a blu-ray player...gad zukes and for the price...

,we got such a deal on the purchace price for the playstation 3..i do not see how anyone can complain about the price. my OPINION they need to be smacked..

I laughed all day long when I bought my PS3 last week. $500 for the 60g model with a Blu-Ray player and 8 free BLU movies ($200 value). I basically got my PS3 for $300.

My 360 came with a standard $9 DVD drive. My PS3 a BLU drive and it upscales my S-DVDs on top of it. Oh yeah, I hear it plays games too.

Kinda seems silly that you have to use a slow PC just to transcode video to stream to the PS3 considering that it has all that horsepower on board...

Come on Sony.... give us some darn extra codecs built into the firm ware for gosh sake! Being able to play mkv packages with x264 would be the bomb!
