Default Few Blu-rays in stock at local Circuit City & Target

I went shopping today to my local Target and they had 6 blu ray movies. They had shelf space for tons more, but only 4 movies. HD only had 7 and alot less shelf space then blu but still. Only 6 movies!!!!

Then I went to Circuit City and they had a couple more than target. It did look like both CC and Target where picked clean recently but both stores need to RESTOCK!!!!

Just thought I would rant alittle about it, cause I was pissed. Wallmart had 3 movies!!! WTF!!!!

Just fyi... This was in East Setauket, Long Island, NY.

It all depends on where you live. In one city near me I can go to BB and CC and they tons of each. Then I go to Wal-Mart and Target and they have almost nothing, actually Target has more than Wal-Mart(just there the other night and they had 3, just 3)

I think it would be great if you can ask them to bring more blu-ray in stock. I hope they will listen. :0

My CC needs to get more BDs in as well. They have sold tons of BD, but they are not gettting anymore old movies back in stock. I only see new releases getting stocked at my CC. My BB and Wal-Mart continues to get new movies and they always re-stock the old ones.

One of the Circuit City's in my area has the best selection in the area. Second best is at a Best Buy around here. I live in Cincinnati, OH, by the way.

Some Targets are having trouble keeping some titles in stock, In addition Vacancy has not been replenished due to issues with the disc not playing.

Alot of it too, is The big box retailers work on an auto replinishment system, as they are sold they are automatically reordered. So when the discs are stolen, the computer doesnt reorder, resulting in empty shelves. Evidently judging by Ebay and the amount being resold at cheap prices explains alot.

Wow, where do you people live? JK Actually, the local Wal-Mart and Target have a great selection of videos everytime I've been inside. I've started to publish this comment on other threads, but I'll go ahead now.

Believe it or not, my local Wal-Mart has never supported HD-DUD (never have had a player and very limited space for the videos). However, they have a nice area for the Blu-rays and they carry Sony BD players.

I don't see this as being bad. It means that Blu is outselling hd dud in the B&M stores, which to me is a good thing. I can only imagine how it will be closer to Christmas time.

My local target is doing a great job at stocking Blu-rays, about 3:1 when compared to the HD-DVD's they have. I don't know what's wrong with Circuit City, they have a poor selection, and on their ad this week had no Blu-ray's, just the Toshiba HD-DVD thing.

...I prefer Best Buy anyways.
