Motorstorm will not load - Blu-ray Forum

I recently tried to play motorstorm after about four months. I put the disk in my PS3 and it didn't want to load and it causes my machine to lock up hard having to restart it. Looking at the disk there is no visual signs of damage. I deleted the saved game profile and that didn't help. Any suggestions? Alll my other games work fine.

You don't need to delete the Savegames but the Update Version 1.1 or whatelse you have.
After deleting them the game should start again.
When Starts go to the Ingame Online Section and download the Update to Version 1.2

Restart your PS3 after that Update and if the Game still run you can download all Add-On Content vom the PSN Store again.

Thats the way I had to go to get the game working again.

I'll give that a try when i get home tonight. I've never had to do this before. Where do I go to delete the update? Many thanks.

happened to me as well. You need to delete the game data, but not the "save" data.

mine now works.

In the XMB:

Game > Game Data Utility

Many thanks to all who helped. I did what was described and all is fine now. I was able to play the game to the point where I had my saved data and get all the cars I lost whne I blew away my saved games. Since being back online I am dissappointed with the few amounts of people that are playing it though.

Glad to hear that it's working again.

I don't know where u from but in Europe, especially in Germany I always find some ppl to play with.
But i must confess that Motorstorm isn't one of my favorites, so I often play other Games than Motorstorm.
