Hitachi P42H401 Plasma - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone here had any experience with this set, I have a chance to get a
great deal on one to go in my basement. I've read all the reviews and 80% are
positive on it for the price, I just wanted some of your opinions if you have any.

Hi, i know that this might not be any help to you but i had a hitachi 42pd6600 and it was crap! This set is probably totally different though but i think you need to see it in the flesh before you buy.

I did see it in person, right next to a samsung HP-T4254 and there was virtually
no difference in the quality. I know they both weren't at the optimal settings,
but I can get it for $790.xx tax and all!
