Cat Shit One Blu-ray Review

Yes...you read that title right.

A very intriguing Japanese anime series has now released its first episode in an entirely English-friendly edition, with English and Japanese LPCM 2.0 tracks and a wealth of HD extras. The release is being sold through the Amazon Marketplace and Fulfilled by Amazon, so Prime shipping is offered.

If only it were cheaper. $30 is a lot for only 22 minutes IMO.

It seems this is essentially a Japanese-created disc, so that could explain the price. I believe the disc was produced to try to raise funds and interest to make more episodes, and to be fair, there are over 75 minutes of extras that are all English-subtitled.

No, it's not a bargain release, but it does seem that they have presented what is available in the best way possible.

Just my $0.02, as they say.

It's nearly a stream of action start to finish with actual military tactics and combat presented...it's fun! Very good audio and video with nice extras.

If you like this clip (which gives you an inkling of the great LPCM audio sound), you'll like the whole thing:

$30 is a little on the expensive side...but it's dirt cheap for a Japanese BD release - at least its not normal Japanese Anime BD prices...

Turns out a friend of mine had the DVD! Just saw it - RABBITS w/ assault rifles. It is non-stop action. $30 is steep for 22 min of show + 70 odd min of extras, but...wow!
