They have always used Donnie Yen as the front cover of ITLD4 well before Ip Man became a hit. The reason is that Donnie Yen was always a bigger star than Cynthia Khan. It's like putting Jackie Chan as the front cover in those Lucky Stars movie even though he's not the main star.
ITLD4 is the best popcorn movie. The story and acting was so bad, but there was like a fight every few minutes. This one is a pretty fun one to watch every now and then. |

I enjoyed both these films. Zu Warriors is waaaaaay better than the Legend of Zu remake. ITLOD4 is a really enjoyable flick with one good fight after another, every 5 minutes or so. Im getting both of these!
And Running Out of Time which is my personal favorite Johnnie To film. |

My Zu Warriors review is up: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Zu-Wa...3/#UserReviews
I like both the old and the new Zu Warriors equally by the way. Eventhough the 1983 version is the better movie, I actually watched the remake a lot more. |

Thanks for the review. I love both Zu films, but will stick with my remastered DVD (of the original).
Screenshots (not mine) of the ITLOD4 blu-ray: http://www.imagebam.com/image/673a0c132664718 http://www.imagebam.com/image/7bc7f4132664807 http://www.imagebam.com/image/19e29b132664830 http://www.imagebam.com/image/111b51132664880 http://www.imagebam.com/image/443d1e132664918 http://www.imagebam.com/image/fdaecf132664985 Great action-packed movie, but again, will not be buying the blu-ray and hanging on to my remastered DVD. Not a very good-looking upscale ![]() |

Here are some screenshots from my iphone camera. The more I look closely at the DVD and blu-ray, it really doesn't matter which one you own! Even the English subtitles on the Hong Kong Legends are fine too.
