Default Question About Prison Break

I never had the opportunity to watch this show being that there were and are far too many other shows that I watch on television. I was curious to know if this show is worth owning? Any fans that can recommend this would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely worth owning. I am a very big fan of this and of 24(Which is hopefully what fox will follow up with). The first season is definitely a must own of this. I would pit the first season of Prison Break against my favorite season of 24 and say that they are on par with each other.

Let me be the first (of probably MANY) to recommend owning this show. Especially on Blu-ray. Other than Lost it is my favorite show. There is lots of action and suspense with excellent characters with superb writing. Two thumbs up for sure.

*and now I see I wasn't the first *

Thank you very much for the high recommendations regarding the purcahse of this television series. I am also a fan of 24 however I have missed a few episodes here and there and look forward to that being releases on Blu. Thank you and I will place my preorder now.

This show is highly underated (just like Dexter), especially at the Emmy's. It is one show that deserves awards and praise. I would highly recommend owning season 1 and 2 of Prison Break. The season 3 premiere was good.

Thank you again. My older brother watches Dexter and says it's an amazing show was well.

I second that. My gf and I would love to see that show on Blu-ray. That was highly underated and despite winning awards the show was cancelled, brought back, cancelled, etc. I don't understand the logic behind some of the decisions that the studios make.

Dexter is great but the most underappreciated show is by far THE WIRE on HBO. THis show is probably the greatest show ever, if you dont believe me go to metacritic and look at the reviews. It blows my mind that this show gets no credit. Ammmazing show.

I COMPLETELY agree with you. I own all the currently released seasons on DVD. I think The Wire is one of my top 5 tv shows of all time. Its ashame that parts of this country are really the way they describe them in the show. Omar is bada$$.

Season 4 on DVD - 12/4/07 release date: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/releases...th-Season/7129

Omar is the man. Yea I live right outside of Baltimore so I love how accurate this show is as well. Its truly an amazing achievement for television.

First, The Wire is great.

Another HBO show that's been over for some time now is OZ. That show was really good.

I own both seasons of Prison Break. It's an excellent show and worth owning.

Prison Break Season 1 is a must have...a very smart, intense, and entertaining show. Season 2 was OK, but not as good as the first...still a must if you enjoy the show. I haven't found anyone who didn't enjoy Prison Break's 1st season.
