Best PQ on BD to date? - Blu-ray Forum

I know a lot of you have massive collections. So i figured i would make a thread to see what those of you who have seen a large amount of BD's think holds the title for best PQ in a BD film so far. Out of the films i own i would have to say Fifth Element (Remastered) or Donnie Brasco. Feel free to add any input about the PQ or movie itself.

Deja Vu. Average movie, but way above average PQ.

I personally found Corpse Bride worthy of reference quality to show off detail in PQ. Hard to find flaws in that one.

troy, rocky balboa(fight scene), black snake moan and casino royale...i also have POTC 1 & 2 in my collection, ,but that's just a given

Film PQ had a bad transfer...very pixelated IMHO.

Edit: I should mention that I actually laughed after I read the review that Hi-Def Digest had for Superman Returns after I saw the film. I know the Bracke was trying to compare it with the other two Superman videos that were coming out at the same time, but I still don't agree with him. But at the time he reviewed it, it may have seemed better to him than some videos out--review was posted November 28, 2006.

It's not terrible or anything, I'd say it's "good", not great...certainly not excellent..

When you compare some of the others mentioned, It's just not on the same level.
