WB watch for new releases over the next two weeks.

Well I just got off the WB customer service. I asked her why a lot of the purchase links for the recently added Blu-ray titles don't work. She said to watch the website over the next two weeks for release updates to their Blu-ray titles. Now I'm not saying that we will get release dates for all the titles but damn it sure will be nice to get some info. As is I think it was pretty crappy of WB to simply list those up their with purchase links and then "oops we're sorry you selection is invalid, thank you for playing". At least we have a time table for the next release announcement.

Well that would be great if WB would starting putting more weight behind Blu-ray.

Did she confirm or deny anything about Batman Begins in 08? Just wondering if that title came up in your conversation.

Yeah see here's the ass part. I tried to get her to look up Batman Begins, Matrix, and Constantine and she wouldn't say one way or the other. Plus I noticed that Batman Begins isn't on that huge list anymore. That sucks if they decided to to keep in on HD-DUD only. I still think the others on the list are a go but these next two weeks are going to be huge.

I was afraid of that. However, I still think Batman Begins and the others will definately be out on Blu and not just HD-DVD exclusive. I cannot remember the exact day, but someone popped up on the forum that Batman Begins will be released in Q2 of 08 to coincide with The Dark Knight. Within a day of that person posting it, Batman Begins disappeared from the list at WB, like you said. So whoever posted about Q2 of 08 knew what they were talking about. Oh well, we will just have to wait- but we all certainly appreciate you giving us a heads up on your converstation with the WB call agent- we at least know SOME of these "Image Not Available" titles are coming.
