DC Comics MMO

[Paradiso]

Hey I did a little search here so pardon me if this is a repeat. I know Sony is working on an MMO that'll work with the PC as well as the console (PS3 I assume). Anyone heard any word on this? Sounds like it'd be a gas.

it is DC MMO called DC Universe; the other console has the Marvel one.

Sony is making DC Universe for next year; it will be available for the psp, ps3 and pc. Microsoft is making Marvel Universe Online for the xbox 360 and pc. it also will be available next year. they are both MMOs.

Ah well. I'm a DC/Marvel fan, but I thought Sony being part of the Marvel film universe would be doing it for PS3....but c'est la vie. I'm looking forward to it none-the-less. I think MMOs on a console system is an intersting idea and I hope they can pull it off. With the ability to hook up a keyboard to the PS it should flow well. But I think the DC (as well as the Marvel game) are a few years away.

Hey Paradiso, also keep an eye out for any PlayNC Co. releases - those guys publish City of Heroes/City of Villains. I'm not much of a gamer, but those two games easily became addictions for me (on the PC). Apparently PlayNC is developing for the PS3, so if you want some awesome Superhero MMO action, look out for those titles...............

...that's the cool part of COH/COV - you can customize your character out the ying-yang. I saw a bunch of caracters on there that looked like Superman, Wolverine, etc. Mine was kinda close to War Machine/Iron Man (my fave), called Matt X (go figure).

Oh yeah man tell me about it. I have both COH/COV so I know what you're saying. Though I did burn out on them, but they're great games with solid gameplay.
