Question About Wii MyNintendo Account Link - Blu-ray Forum

I have not used my Wii in a Long Time I got an Email from Nintendo saying it was my last chance to transfer my account to one of those new club Nintendo Accounts but I forgot and my account was deleted according to the Email my question is this if I turn on my Wii and go to the wii shop channel will the link between my Wii and my old MyNintendo account be re-activated or will I have to start from scratch by creating a Club Nintendo Account and Re-Register My Nintendo consoles and Games?

I've been wondering about this. Kind of pissed because the My Nintendo accoutn is something I've had since 2002...

Did you try to Log In to your my Nintendo Account ? Is Your Wii Still Linked To your My Nintendo Account?

I don't think you can re-register your console and games. Why was your first account deleted, again? Because of inactivity? I would think they would make you start from scratch if they sent you a notice to transfer by a certain deadline and you missed that date. Those games and consoles are unique codes though. I wouldn't think you could reuse them again once they were registered. I bought a DS Lite off Ebay that was suppose to be new and it wouldn't let me register that because it said it wasn't a valid code. Apparently it was refurbished or the seller for whatever reason used the code but not the system. Try it and see. It wouldn't hurt to try.
