I post them because they're release dates for new Blu-ray releases, and thought people would be interested as this is Blu-ray.com.

Oh and yes, I'd gain so much from posting bull$hit release dates.

This is awesome news. I hope we get this in the states. If we don't oh well, hopefully Warner will still be rollin' region free. Fingers Crossed!!!

Wow, wasn't expecting that. Great news. Hoepfully Warner will make them seperate blus in the box set like the dirty Harry collection. However I'll be happy with a Lethal Weapon type box with the same artwork as the current single blu of the original. And better blurb on the back.

For US fans, at least you know the rest of the sequels will come out, if they have masters ready

im not so sure I want all the sequels. the latter ones are pretty bad!

Wonder if they will include the extras the US discs are porting over from the bonus DVD from the US dvd collection.

Depends on price really. I love parts 1, 2, 3 and new nightmare.

Damnit,I bought the double pack last year with the original and the remake. Still buying this however so I can get my hands on Dream Warriors and New Nightmare. Also for the others. By the way, KingSimba could you keep an eye out for a Chucky collection.

Not in regards to the BBFC. A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master was cut in the UK for use of nunchucks. Those cuts were reinstated for the DVD release back in 2001.

The films are all the R-rated versions. The UK were lucky enough to have the unrated versions of the original A Nightmare on Elm Street and A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. But the DVDs used the same R-rated masters as the US DVDs.

I doubt Warner will re-instate the cuts to make 1 and 5 the unrated versions.

Awesome news!
I bought a DVD player when the NoES set was announced for the format. And now, finally, I will be able to watch the full series in HD.

I know some people dislike the sequels, but I really enjoyed all of them, and it will be great to have them all on BD.
Here's hoping all the special features from the DVD set make it to the BD release. Oh, and the 3D version of Freddy's Dead as well.
