Default Boardwalk Empire Vs Game of Thrones

HBO's two new dramas! Which was better to you?

Tough decision, right now I would say GoT because it just finished a great first season and I'm currently reading A Storm of Swords (I read the first two over the past few weeks).

Once Boardwalk starts back I know I'll love it too though, so you can't really go wrong here in my eyes. HBO is killing it lately!

I LOVE both shows a lot but I have to go with Game of Thrones. I've been a big fan of the book series for 6 years and I think they did a really great job with the adaptation. Boardwalk Empire was tremendous as well, I love the period and can't wait for season 2 of both these shows.

Easy, Game of thrones.

Empire for me got a bit dull and seemed to drag about half way through, for me

Totally agree!

GoT is brilliant - i was completely hooked, and even my wife, who is not a fan of fantasy stuff, really enjoyed it. I have gone and bought all the ASOFAI books i enjoyed the series so much!
BE was far too slow. I really enjoyed the acting in it, it looked great, Buscemi was fantastic as usual, but the story just sort of fizzed out towards the end. The sub-plot with Arnold Rosthstein started off great, but in the end added nothing to the story and was a real distraction.

I watch both but I would easily choose Game of Thrones over watching Boardwalk Empire...both my husband and i got totally hooked and went out and picked up the books. Bummed though that we have to wait soooo long for it.

Boardwalk Empire because as someone who hasn't read the books, I feel like I'm missing out on something with Game of Thrones.

Neither. I channel surfed during the first commercial break on BE and didn't bother surfing back. And GoT was just awful, reading the books didn't make it any more appealing

GoT is much more engaging, where Boardwalk is the wittier show. Love both but if I HAD to choose I'd say GoT

Boarwalk for me, GoT is great but it needs more action like Dark Water last season.

Definitely Game of Thrones, have watched season 1 of Boardwalk, have season 2 downloaded on my HTPC just haven't felt motivated enough to watch it yet. Too bad we have to wait until next Spring for more GoT... however SoA rules

S2 is much better than S1 in my opinion.

Hard decision...both are excellent, but GoT wins by just a hair.
