Finished watching this on Demand in HD from Comcast. A good movie. However, something I won't buy. Nothing I will watch again and again.

good movie but what is with that BS ad at the beginning? At first I thought it was part of the movie (after all it is a movie about a school and it looked like it could have been a fake ad for the school in the movie), then I am thinking "man, this is long, can't believe I will miss much by playing it back a bit faster"

LOL...had the same feeling about it being part of the movie. It was when the actors came on and told actual names that I realized it was something to take the place of the new movie releases. I actually enjoyed the scenes from West Virginia and didn't mind it too much. However, I agree that they should have put it after the movie or in the supplements, but that is just another person's opinion. Still a nice movie to watch and glad to have it in my collection.

well I have bought Roving Mars, Blue Planet, Planet earth.... so it was not an objection to the scenoury. It was more that I did not like the devousness of it. Part of it could also be paranoia but I just see it as one step further where advertisment is where it is not needed or apreciated. I can imagine (mentioned it before and called paranoid because studios know we don't like ads and we paid for the movie) where the internet connection is used to download ads during the movie and a link to the web site. (i.e. you are watching a car scene, there is an accident now all of a sudden you see a guy from inssurance X comming and telling the unseen character why X is better and he will get Y$ with a link for more info to the website where that scene depends on who decided to buy placement at that time)
