Default 10/2 Release Comparison

I was noticing that next week, 10/2 that we have 9 NEW Blu releases and that HD-DVD shows that they have 15, BUT, that 11 of these releases are in fact "Re-Releases".

We should easily win next week with our line up.

Point being? We are getting three horror classics before Halloween. Dawn and Day of the Dead, and Evil Dead 2... must haves for any horror fan. I don't care how many movies HD DVD is releasing, blu is getting classics.

uwhat are their re-releases? are they doing remastered editions or are these lame ''special'' editions with added special features you'll never use.

I believe they are doing reissues of HD DVD/DVD combos, only now without the DVD bit.

this is why I have more hope to win compared to 18 sept buy-a-thon. It should be moved to this day.

Doesn't matter, personally I don't care for buy-a-ton. I don't have a ton to buy anymore. I have everything I want, the only ones left are preorders.

I'm done with Buy-a-Thons. They accomplish nothing.

This is all foreplay. Most of the retailing dollar comes during the holiday spree at year's end.

That's when companies will look to see what to do for next holiday season.
