I can't take it anymore!! Why won't Amazon put up The Fly for preorder?? PLEASE.... I NEED IT....

Retailers that post here have said it's coming, and you can pre-order from DVDEmpire, but I'm still iffy as to whether we'll see it or not.

From Hell is also not available for pre-order yet and still has the old release date on it. I want that one also, so I emailed Amazon Customer Service about it last week. The reply I got said that they are looking into it. Probably just a form letter type reply, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

From Hell is up. The Fly isn't yet on Amazon. DVD Pacific has it for pre-order methinks.

From Hell has been up ever since it was announced then postponed, though. You're still unable to preorder the title - only "sign up to know when it becomes available."

Methinks Amazon is finding it a bit difficult to keep up with the convoluted high def release slate - especially Fox. "So-and-so titles are coming to Blu-ray! Wait... no they aren't. Wait... nevermind! Yes they are! And a few others, too! Except Master & Commander - change the date on that, kthxbai!"

Try DVD Empire, thebluemax. They have both titles up for $30.66. It's not as cheap as the $28 Amazon would probably sell it at, but it's a start.

Just looked tonite on Amazon and The Fly is still not available for pre-order. I already have a shipment coming out with Oct 9 titles and I would really like to add this one too. WTF is up?
