United Kingdom X-Men: First Class - Play.com Exclusive Steelbook

Still no pre-order up yet, but Play.com is giving this film a steelbook. Was really hoping this film would get a steel since Thor and Green Lantern were getting one too. The artwork looks good as well if they stick with it.

I'm really starting to wish I never got into collecting SteelBook's.

It's always films im really interested in seeing and then it makes me want to pre-order them all (which ends up costing alot)

Looks like I won't need to import this one now Let's hope they slap a nice £13.99 price tag on it like they did with Source Code

It's a Fox title. They'll likely slap a very nice £17.99 price tag on it.

As do I. I love steelbooks, but collecting them does indeed cost a lot of money. And it's not just because they are regularly produced for films that I am interested in, but because if I want them, I always have to pre-order them and pay full price, as the production and sales of steelbooks are unpredictable. There are some like The Karate Kid, which are still available to buy new from HMV months after they was released, and that makes me wonder why Ididn't wait until it was cheaper to buy it. However there are others like Paul, which sell out in less than a month.

I hope those rating stickers are not on the steelbook itself.

Both of Fox's previous UK steels had the BBFC logos printed on the Steel. :/

I think if Fox releases a film in most/all countries, which they do with this film, their Blu-rays are usually region free, or A and B at the least.

I think it's that time of the year where every one is strugling to keep up with all the great releases coming out. If only they could be spread out more evenly, or better yet, CHEAPER!

Feels like it. It seems to be happening earlier each year.

It's okay. It's not like I needed to pay the heating bill anyway.
