Default Jurassic Park on AMC

Anyone else find it odd that they are showing Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3 a lot but not showing Jurassic Park 2 The Lost World at all on AMC?

Saw most of JP3 on AMC HD and it looked really good. If the BRs look better we are in for a treat.

Watched JP3 last night too and while watching it there were so many times that I thought to myself, this would look really good in 3D. I swear some of the CGI shots almost seemed like they were made with 3D in mind.

They may or may not have broadcast rights to THE LOST WORLD. Unfortunately their website doesn't offer clarity, nor can I seem to find a suitable google search to determine.

I haven't seen these movies in YEARS so I was dissapointed in AMC not having the 2nd movie.

That in mind (don't kill me) since I haven't see Jurassic Park in FOREVER, can someone explain the importance of the Barbasol shaving cream can that had some sort of computer system thing in it? That fat guy dropped the can, it got burried and nothing was mentioned for the entire movie.

Unfortunately nothing came of the can after that. It would have been a good tie-in for a sequel but alas it's plot device was buried in the mud.

My impression had always been that it was trade secrets re: the DNA techniques for resurrecting the dinos.

I thought he stole dna samples and stored them in the can. Didn't the can have a place to store multiple vials of liquid(dna). I read the book and saw the movies a while back but that's what I recall.

Those embryos would only be viable in that can for a few hours, if I remember correctly. So when the guys Nedry stole them for knew about the clusterf*ck at Isla Nublar, and realized that Nedry was in fact dead, those would probably be wasted anyway.

I was in the Hobby Lobby this week and after having watched Jurassic Park all week on AMC, I had to pick this guy up. Pretty nice detail and he's modeled after the JP version!
