Default Playstation 3 Display settings?

What should mine be at? The one that says "RGB Full Range (HDMI)" has the options of "Limited" and "Full." The one that says "Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super-White (HDMI) has the options of "Off" and "On."

Also, Under "BD/DVD Settings" I have a question about other options as well. The one that says "BD/DVD Audio Output Format (HDMI)" has the options of "Linear PCM" and "Bitstream." The one that says BD Audio Output Format (Optical Digital)" has the options of "Bitstream" and "Linear PCM."

I just need to know what exactly these settings all are for, If I need additional Cables, and what the best settings are for my set-up.

I have my PS3 hooked up through a Monseter Cable to my Samsung HL-T5687s. Thanks in advance!

You certainly did not provide enough info to provide any useful information to you. (What kind of receiver do you have would be a good start.)

As for your T.V. - you can play the movie and hit "triangle" during movie play and adjust certain settings. RGB you can turn on and off during the movie. Try it out. Be sure to have your T.V remote handy since this setting will certainly play havoc with your brightness/contrast levels.

There is definately no "one size fits all" setting, since this will mainly be your personal preference.

I usually turn my brightness down because I feel it gives the picture quality a "deeper" color scheme. However, I see many people with the brightness way up which gives it a "washed out" feel to me, but most people don't seem to mind this effect.

To each their own. Read the manual, and play with the settings.
