Default Audio out of sync at 24hz?

No matter what software I use(Powerdvd, Totalmedia theatre), the audio is out of sync with the video at 24hz. THe video lags behind. I tried applying a delay of 85ms on my onkyo receiver, and that fixed the problem partially. Reclock isn't an option as I bitstream.

Somebody please help. How much delay should I put?

Arcsoft media player is highly recommended. I myself use this one for my BD playback and it is smooth as usual. Heres a vid maybe it can help you.

Or maybe you can use XBMC media center which i also prefer
