Stopped in Best Buy yesterday and picked up Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and Halloween...Evil Dead II was there as well.

The Best Buy near me has Halloween and Dracula.Did not have Dawn,Day or Evil Dead II thoe.
Watched Halloween last night and I was very impressed with.Its hard to believe the movie is 29 years old.

yea we just got a truck in last night at my store and I saw some of those titles as well...(dawn, halloween, dracula, and evil dead). Did really look to see some of the other titles were there as well though.

That is an early surprise. I ordered Halloween from Amazon, but I will purchase another of the tuesday (zombie)titles if I see any in Best Buy today.

Picked up Dracula last night.
They had it out when I was in there on wednesday.
They have all of next weeks releases out.

Yeah me too.Every time I watch a Halloween flick the theme gets stuck in me head for days.

speaking of Halloween... i dunno about where you guys live but here in Mtl it was in theaters for like 2 or 3 weeks before getting the axe

All 4 of the Starz horror flicks have been showing up early all over the place it seems. I guess the people working in the stores see that they are old titles and put them out not knowing that they are actually "new" releases. I got Halloween, Evil Dead II, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead last Tuesday at Best Buy when I went looking for Underworld. I'm going to stop by there again today in hopes of snagging Dracula early

Anybody have any idea how this might affect the Neilson numbers since it seems that this is happening a lot?
