Default Godzilla BD in Australia - and a question about TMNT

since I live in Australia, I frequently visit www.ezydvd.com.au for all the Australian release dates of blu ray movies. On my latest visit I noticed a movie that isnt in the movie's section of this website. On the 14th of November Sony Pictures are gonna release Godzilla on blu ray in australia. Being a sony title im expecting their usual stellar pq an aq and am definetly picking it up. On a side note, I have not heard anything about a release date of TMNT in Australia and am thinking of ordering it from amazon because I heard the pq is great, but on amazon they have "region unknown" in the product details. So I want to know if I order it would it work on my australian (pal) ps3???
thanks.

TMNT was just an ok movie the Blu-Ray version has actually good sound and good picture even if it is from warner kind of hard to believe but with TMNT its maybe worth a rental or to buy it used but dont know the answer to your question

G'day mate...

Every BR is region coded and depending on your PS3 console. It is shown on your PS3 box. Look behind the box. Once you know your region, then you wouldn't have problems playing your BR movies.

Enjoy !

no, every player has a RC, but most movies are not region coded (or more precisely are coded for all regions)

As for the individual quality of the movie, however--and the real Toho's opinion of the gaijin Jay Leno-jawed barbarian--anyone catch the US-vs.-Japanese canon-approved Godzilla battle in "Godzilla: Final Wars"?

(Hint: It lasts 35 seconds, guess who wins, and aces an in-joke only those thoroughly annoyed by Dean Devlin's weird clueless script will pick up on right away.)

I loved TMNT on Blu Ray.

If you want,.. I'll check my copy's case to see if they mention region codes.

TMNT is a Warner title, so no region coding. Also NTSC and PAL have no bearing on Blu-ray so order away my friend.

There was a sneak preview of the blasphemous abomination at KaijuCon, and they had 2 of the original suit wearers there. One fell asleep(they're like 80), the other one said "That's not Godzilla, that's an iguana!"

Think it was Toho wanting to make such a diplomatic show of goodwill before the movie came out--and proclaiming that GINO-zilla* would be officially inducted as a member of the Monster Island canon--that garnered such "Us and our big mouths... " jokes later.
(* Godzilla In Name Only, as fans have officially christened it)

In "GMK: All Out Attack", the Japanese military describes increasing monster attacks, including "one on the North American east coast a year ago":
Cadet 1 (aside): "The American attack...That was Godzilla, right?"
Cadet 2: "Their scientists claim so--Ours don't agree."

(Still, the in-jokes never got better than Final's "I knew I couldn't depend on that tuna-eating lizard!")

If any Australians wouldn't mind checking to see if this is an ABC region disc I would appreciate it. I know I'll get laughed at, but Godzilla is one of my favorite movies (don't know why, but it is, ok).
