Default microsoft takes on apple tv

http://www.multichannel.com/article/...dustryid=47197 just came across this article. i don't know if it has been discussed already. what are your thoughts. is microsoft just propping up a dead format (hddvd) until it can covet the masses with hd downloadable content. although hd downloads via the internet are not available today. how close is it to being reality? i know many of us here prefer to own the software, but what about the other 95%. is microsoft just keeping hddvd afloat so blu doesn't take hold.
