Thumbs down So why am I failing the BD Advisor test?

Yes I have HDCP, I have the latest drivers (11.8) and my BD drive is the LG CH08LS10. Most of my movies work, except for Planet of the Apes (1968) but anyDVD makes it work

What's the issue here?

Can you post a larger picture? I can't make anything out (and I have a 32" monitor lol).

So running AnyDVD in the background makes it play on your PowerDVD, but if you have it off it doesn't, right? Even with the default settings in Catalyst 11.8 it should be set to go. Not sure why their blu-ray advisor is saying your 58** isn't compatible.

I think people were even having issues with the 1968 POTA with ArcSoft's Total Media Theater (which is what I use) software.

What does the advanced say?

Did you un-install the previous Catalyst drivers fully, before throwing on 11.8? Sorry had to deal with an idiot on eBay who just won one of my auctions but didn't want to pay.

Unless it's a PowerDVD issue. I don't have that program. Are you running the latest version?

I've had some minor issues with Catalyst 11.8 and Arcsoft TotalMedia Theater. Choppy playback and what not every once and a while. It could be an AMD driver issue. Did this problem happen when you had Catalyst 11.7 (or whatever older version)?

I hadn't watched anything in a while. But I can confirm that the only films that have had issues so far is Planet of the Apes (1968) and it's sequels.

There has to be something in their support forum for people with the same issue. They usually release small hotfixes for things like that.
