Yes I have HDCP, I have the latest drivers (11.8) and my BD drive is the LG CH08LS10. Most of my movies work, except for Planet of the Apes (1968) but anyDVD makes it work

So running AnyDVD in the background makes it play on your PowerDVD, but if you have it off it doesn't, right? Even with the default settings in Catalyst 11.8 it should be set to go. Not sure why their blu-ray advisor is saying your 58** isn't compatible.
I think people were even having issues with the 1968 POTA with ArcSoft's Total Media Theater (which is what I use) software. What does the advanced say? |

Unless it's a PowerDVD issue. I don't have that program. Are you running the latest version?
I've had some minor issues with Catalyst 11.8 and Arcsoft TotalMedia Theater. Choppy playback and what not every once and a while. It could be an AMD driver issue. Did this problem happen when you had Catalyst 11.7 (or whatever older version)? |
